When you have a very severe toothache it's often impossible to go about your daily tasks or even sleep at night. Toothaches can fall into several categories, all of which can cause more than a little annoyance:


  • Continual toothache that doesn't abate or change in intensity.
  • Intermittent toothache that comes and goes.
  • Sensitivity toothache that only occurs when you put something in your mouth that is too  hot, cold or sweet.
  • Worsening toothache that increases in pain and intensity over time.
